Proudly presenting the group show MELKEBUTIKKEN | Opening on Thursday 23.11 at 19:00

MELKEBUTIKKEN (The Corner Shop) is a group exhibition based on previous year’s Artist Supermarked. The concept will show one-of-a-kind art pieces at a bargain price.

You will be able to bring the art pieces home immediately, buying art as part of an everyday shopping experience. A wide range of works and ideas will be added weekly; embracing a collection of artifacts relevant to our present time, history, and the future from both new talents and established names.

The name MELKEBUTIKKEN evokes memories of local shopping in Oslo in the past. In SORGENFRI (Sorgenfrigaten 16), where the group show will be on display, a ‘melkebutikk’: a local corner shop, was located. A corner shop offers what is seen as everyday necessary; just the same, SORGENFRI will offer art and the zeitgeist.

The show is on display from November 23rd 2023 through February 25th 2024.
