Ensemble Solvind (Cecilie Catherine Ødegaarden, soprano, Anne-Marie Anderson, alto, Nicholas Cotellessa, tenor and Pietro Simone, bass), together with pianist Mariangiola Martello, will perform Otto Notturni, by Saverio Mercadante (1795-1870), text by Pietro Metastasio, for 4 voices and basso continuo.
The first half of the one-hour program, Øystein Skre (bass) will be performing Vaughan Williams Songs of Travel, together with pianist Mariangiola Martello.

The Balcony Concert series is a new initiative launched by the Norwegian National Opera. Concerts of 1 hour in duration will be presented on the first balcony before a scheduled performance on the main stage.
