GalleriNeuf was founded in 2011 as a student gallery and student union at Det Norske Studentersamfund (DNS) in Oslo. The gallery disposes a showroom at Chateau Neuf where exhibitions are arranged in partnership with artists every semester.
The gallery is voluntary and run by students with an interest for art. The goal of the gallery is to give
young artists an alternative place to exhibit their work and to give students the opportunity to gain experience in gallery work, and to be an arena to explore young contemporary art.
Would you like to exhibit?
About two to three times a year we send out an open call to encourage young artists to exhibit at our gallery. The applications artists send in are reviewed by the board and presented to the members when the open call has closed. This is how we choose which artists to exhibit in the following semester.
The application must contain a description of the project, CV and pictures of the art.
We ask that the description also contains information of size and a rough number of works. We do not accept links to webpages as description or substitute for pictures.
